THE HOME OF THE GLOBAL COLLECTOR
Collecting.com: Collecting Cars and Watch Collecting
Role - Creative Lead
Collecting.com is a true disruptor, with its marketplaces offering the best ‘curated collectables’ from around the globe, overseen by specialists in the subject matter. Currently, they are divided into two different online auction businesses: Collecting Cars and Watch Collecting.
As role of Creative Lead at TCG, I managed a team of three creatives, who, along with myself, created and distributed all visual content from digital to print for both businesses. This content hit a global audience just shy of 250k Instagram followers combined, as well as an extensive email database. A particular highlight was a strategy-led piece that saw the success of 1.6M views on 1 YouTube video with socials pushing an 800K reach.
Specific projects are displayed below.

Campaign leadership and social reels: Collecting Cars
Former Top Gear presenter Chris Harris frequently contributes content to Collecting Cars YouTube channel. His content typically involves racing around a track and delivering the key highlights of specific automobiles. Many times, these cars, or similar models, can be found on the auction platform.
Our innovative approach to launching each video yielded remarkable results. For instance, the video featuring the 911K garnered an impressive 1.6M views on YouTube and reached a social media audience of 800K.
In my role within these campaigns, I took on the responsibility of overseeing the content creation process that promotes these videos. Additionally, I often curated and crafted typography overlays that enhanced the teaser reels, further amplifying their impact.

With the launch of Classifieds across Collecting Cars, we devised the creative concept of
‘Your Car’s Story.’ This campaign was also integrated onto the platform and effectively showcased through various marketing channels, including social media, email, and print media. These single-page and double-page spreads were printed with our partnerships including SuperCarDriver, Porsche Club GB, Octane, Evo and many more.
To ensure a harmonious branding experience across both our Collecting Cars and Watch Collecting platforms, we introduced graphic elements to our Watch Collecting advertisements. This strategic move not only creates visual consistency but also aligns the branding efforts with the essence of their product offerings.

With the growing success of The Collecting Cars podcast, known as “Collecting Addicts,” we made the strategic decision to establish a merchandise store. The creative inspiration for the illustrations was drawn from a multitude of engaging topics and catchphrases featured in the podcast episodes.
In this venture, my responsibilities were to oversee the art direction, production, promotion across platforms and at events, as well as the build of the product store.
